The four sacred cards

Every legend has its heroes.

Tichu's four special cards bend the rules in elegant, devastating ways. We rebuilt them from scratch — hand-painted, lovingly detailed, faithful to the spirit of the original.

The Mahjong card — the 1, leads the first trick

Mahjong · 1

The opening lead. Whoever holds it starts the round — and may make a wish on a rank.

The Dog card — passes the lead to your partner

The Dog

Worth nothing in points. Worth everything in tempo: hand the lead straight to your partner.

The Phoenix card — wild card, costs you points if held

The Phoenix

The shapeshifter. Becomes any single card you need — at the cost of −25 points if it stays in your hand.

The Dragon card — highest single, worth +25 points

The Dragon

The highest single in the deck and worth +25 — but the trick must be given to an opponent.

Two ways to play

Built by Tichu fans, for Tichu fans

A deck worth holding.

Tichu Master isn’t a generic card-game template with a re-skin. Every screen, animation, and rule was hand-tuned to honour the game we love — the bombs, the wishes, the dragon trick, the agonising Grand Tichu call.

  • Hand-painted cards in your choice of three styles
  • Fluid dealing, exchanging, and trick-collection animations
  • A scoreboard you can actually trust — including double-victory bonuses
  • Every rule from Urs Hostettler's original, faithfully preserved
  • English & Bärndütsch (Swiss German) interfaces

The fine print, made beautiful

Every rule. Every card. Every bomb.

True to the original

Mahjong, Dog, Phoenix and Dragon all play exactly as you'd expect. Bombs, straight-flush bombs, Grand Tichu calls — nothing left out, nothing watered down.

Smart bots, three difficulties

From beginners learning the rules to tournament-grade opponents that count cards, anti-Tichu bomb, and read your wish like a book.

Private online rooms

Spin up a 6-character code, share it with your usual four, and start a hand — no accounts, no friend graphs to manage.

ELO-ranked online play

When all four seats are real players, your rating moves. Double victories swing harder. Daily caps protect you from a single rough night.

Statistics that mean something

Tichus called. Grand Tichus won. Bombs played. Double victories. Win rate. Game history with full round-by-round scoring.

Game history, round by round

Every game is saved with a full score-sheet — Tichus called, bombs played, who took which trick — so you can argue about that hand for months.

English & Bärndütsch

Full Swiss-German localisation alongside English — because Tichu has always had a special home in Switzerland.

Solo play works offline

Bots, statistics, history, rules and language switching all work with zero connection. Online rooms are the only feature that needs the internet.

No ads. No accounts. No tracking.

Free to play means free to play. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't ask you to sign up just to deal a hand.
